The events of the “Rise of Flight” occur during one of the most dramatic and interesting periods in the history of Aviation: 1917 - 1918. The included game map shows the 120.000 km² large scenario of Rise of Flight.

Albatros D.V
the greatest advantage of the Albatros was this machine was easy to fly. For young and unexperienced pilots going into first missons at the front, this was not an unimportant factor to survive.

Fokker D.VII
Without a doubt, this was the best scout of the war. It was an easy aircraft to fly, yet was quick and rugged. Fokker pilots routinely stood their D.VIIIs on their tails and climbed vertically in combat.


Nieuport 28
During the war this aircraft type was used by the French and the Americans. It could well match up with the older German fighter planes.

SPAD XIII
The SPAD XIII was a french develpoment and was also used in great numbers by the american, british, belgium and italian forces.
